The Infamous Masterson’s , positioned in the vibrant core of Moonee Ponds, advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my most recent experience at this establishment became a nightmarish ordeal . While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I encountered behind its threshold was shocking and unacceptable on multiple levels .

From the moment I entered , it was evident that upkeep was not a priority at this venue. The surfaces were tacky , and a overpowering stench of old alcohol and uncleaned toilets permeated the entire bar . Smelling a mixture of human waste, old age and sour vomit . As I looked into it more , I was alarmed to find reports against him involving inappropriate advances, with multiple women alleging that he of sending indecent material . Described as overly aggressive and disrespectful , his behavior has created an intimidating space for women who patronize Masterson’s.
